Duties / Responsibilities:
Senior ITI Engineering
representative at a project installation site.
Interprets plans and specifications. Communicates
with the Customer and ITI Project Engineers.
Schedules and directs the installation crew
activities and provides overall day-to-day
supervision of the job site. Responsible for
quality control and insuring the work meets
ITI performance standards. Prepares daily
project reports. Manages labor budget, timeline,
and members of his/her project installation
team in order to successfully execute the
overall project plan. Trouble-shoots and finds
solutions to problems encountered at the job
site. Assists the Project Engineer with final
system testing and acceptance
Skills:
• Reads, updates and
redlines drawings.
• Working Knowledge of IT networks and
hardware.
• Uses tools and test equipment common
to television and A/V systems.
• Familiar with the cable and connector
types common to television and A/V systems.
• Excellent soldering skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
skills.
• Must be proficient with MS Office
Suite (Word, Excel, MS Project). CAD/VidCAD
proficiency a plus.
Education:
Minimum ASEET (or equivalent technical education) and 10 years
experience in a broadcast or AV engineering
capacity. SBE certification a plus. Cisco
or similar IT certification a plus. Secret
or higher security clearance a plus.
