Duties / Responsibilities:

ITI is currently looking for a Microsoft .NET web developer as member of the development team located in Chantilly, VA. This team is responsible for all phases in development of applications, both client-server and intranet/Internet. This individual will work closely with clients and project managers to develop state-of-the-art, enterprise-scale solutions. Responsibilities include heavy involvement in the software lifecycle from conception through delivery with an emphasis on architecture, design, and usability. The candidate should have a solid application development background with exposure to full software development lifecycle and proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, Windows Forms, SQL Server 2000 and ORACLE 9.x and higher. Experience in developing and designing distributed n-tier applications is required and working knowledge of technologies like Web Services, Remoting and XML/XSL is desired. The candidate should also be very familiar with source code control and comfortable in source code management tools. The other skills desired are Object Oriented Analysis and Design and understanding of modeling languages like UML.

Education / Qualifications:

Must have a BS Degree in a Computer Science or closely related field, or equivalent experience. Salary negotiable based on experience. Solid background in client communications and Writing skills. Knowledge of audiovisual or broadcast television systems helpful. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.

Must have worked on AT LEAST one enterprise project in a formal software development environment using .NET, C# and ASP.NET. Good understanding of object oriented programming principles required. Must have a thorough understanding of multi-tier (client/server, Internet/Intranet) design and development methodologies. Also must have written code in ASP.NET and C# with a good knowledge of optimization techniques. This position will require prior hands-on experience in .NET and C#.

Solid understanding and hands-on experience in all of the following is ESSENTIAL:

.NET, CLR, C#, Web Services
Strong Object oriented concepts and application using C#.
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.Net 2003, Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer, and Visual Source Safe.
MUST be very strong in ASP.NET, ASP, JavaScript, IIS.
Documented experience using ADO.NET, XML, XSL/T and XPATH.
3+years of experience in C# using Microsoft Visual Studio MS-SQL Server, T-SQL, ORACLE.
Must have experience and be familiar with exception handling, debugging, testing and security in .NET applications.

Desired:

Knowledge of new features offered with Microsoft.NET2 (ASP2, ADO2, etc) And Visual Studio.Net 2005
Understanding of modeling languages like UML.
Experience in Web Services, SOAP, WS-Security in .NET.
Some Experiences in Service Oriented Architectures with a good understanding of WSDL, UDDI, XML-RPC, Remoting etc
Knowledge of Web casting/streaming technologies helpful
Experience with Crystal Reports helpful
Good writing skills
Some Travel required.
