T-ASA's Mission is to serve as the designated source throughout DoD for immediate and unique procurement of broadcast and VI equipment and systems. T-ASA provides engineering, acquisition, logistics, and commodity management support for normal and contingency broadcast and visual information operations of DoD, the Military Services and the war fighting Commands. They provide the equipment and services required by military broadcast and visual information activities to accomplish their command information, public affairs, radio and television entertainment, combat camera, and media archival responsibilities.

Innovative Technologies, Inc., ITI, was awarded a five year contract as the sole contractor in support of T-ASA's mission. The contract directly supports American Forces Information Service (AFIS) and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs (OSAD-PA), however, the contract can be used by any DoD organization with VI & broadcast requirements. The contract calls for site survey, system design, supply integration, installation, testing and training of Visual Information (VI) and broadcast systems. The types of VI and broadcast systems include, but are not limited to: Conference Room Presentation Systems, Training Facilities, Visual Distribution Systems, Video Teleconferencing Systems, Electronic Imaging Systems, Production Facilities, Editing Suites, Sound Reinforcement, Television Studios, TV/Radio Terrestrial Transmitter and Satellite Receive Only Systems and other related technologies and systems.
